Give operator status to a user in the current channel. This is a shorthand for /mode +o nickname.
Syntax
/op <nickname>
Parameters
nickname — The user to promote to operator.
Rules & Limits
- Requires operator (@) or owner (~) status in the channel
- The target must be in the channel
