Ban exceptions allow specific users to bypass channel bans. If a user is both banned and has a ban exception, they can still join and participate in the channel.
Managing Ban Exceptions
Ban exceptions are managed through the Ban Exceptions tab in Channel Central . Only channel operators can add or remove ban exceptions.
How It Works
When a user attempts to join a channel where they are banned, the server checks the ban exception list. If the user matches a ban exception entry, the ban is overridden and they are allowed to join.
