RetroHexChat支持幾種特殊的服務器和頻道消息:
每日賀詞(MOTD)
服務器管理員可以設置一個所有用戶在連接時看到的MOTD. 使用
/motd
or Help > Message of the Day to re-read it at any time.
頻道歡迎信件
頻道運營商可以在用戶首次加入時設置一次顯示的歡迎消息. 信件不顯示給設置該信件的用戶,也不在同一會話內重新加入時重複.
錢包
服務器操作員可以向選擇加入的用戶發送Wallops消息 /umode +w。Wallops 出現在狀態標籤中。
全球通知
服務器管理員可以發送出現在每個用戶活動窗口中的公告. 通告繞過列表,並有獨特的大膽風格.
