ChanServ registration assigns a founder to the current channel and keeps channel ownership, access lists, bans, and settings available after the channel empties or restarts.
Commands
/cs register /cs info /cs drop
Requirements
- Use the commands while the channel is the active conversation.
- You must be identified with NickServ before ChanServ accepts changes.
- The Registration tab only enables Register Channel for channel operators.
- Only the founder can drop channel registration.
Channel Central
Open Channel Central and select Registration to see whether the channel is registered, who founded it, and when it was registered. The same tab provides Register Channel and Drop Registration controls when your permissions allow them.
