When to Use It
Use it when you forget how a command works, or when you want to see which commands exist without leaving the chat.
Syntax
/help [command]
Parameters
command
— Optional command name (without the / prefix). If omitted, shows a list of all commands.
How It Works
Running /help
with no arguments lists the names of all available commands. Adding a command name (like /help join) shows detailed help for that specific command. Use Help Topics from the menu bar to browse and search all help topics.
With no arguments, the reply is a short message in the current window. It names every command, separated by commas, and ends with a hint about Help Topics. It does not include descriptions.
With a command name, a help card for that command appears in the window you are viewing, and the Status window notes which topic was opened. The card shows the same help text you find in Help Topics, with a link that opens the full help page.
Rules & Limits
- Anyone can use it. No channel or server status is needed.
- Type the command name in lowercase and without the slash
- A name that is not a command gets an error
- Only the first word after the command is used
