Remove the welcome message from the current channel so that new users joining won't see one.
When to Use It
Use it when the welcome text is out of date and you have nothing to put in its place yet. If you only want new text, use /setwelcome with the new message. It replaces the old one in one step.

/clearwelcome
How It Works
Clears the welcome message that is shown to users when they join the current channel. After clearing, no welcome message is displayed until a new one is set with /setwelcome.
The command acts on the channel you are viewing. The welcome is also deleted from storage, so it does not come back later. You see a confirmation line that names the channel. Other members get no message about the change.
Typing /setwelcome with no text does the same thing as this command.
Rules & Limits
- You must be a channel operator or owner
- Must be used inside a channel
- Half-operators cannot use this command
- Clearing a channel that has no welcome message is not an error
- The command takes no parameters. Anything you type after it is ignored.
