Channel welcome messages are shown once to each user when they join a channel. Operators can set or clear the message from Channel Central's General tab or with commands.
Channel Central
Open Channel Central for the channel, stay on the General tab, edit the Welcome Message field, then choose Save Welcome. Use Clear Welcome to remove it.
Commands
/setwelcome <message> /clearwelcome
Rules
- Requires channel operator (@) or owner (~) status
- Applies only to the current channel
- The user who set the message does not see it immediately
