Admin Users is the server-wide user administration window. Open it from File > Admin > Users; it opens as a desktop window you can drag, resize, minimize to the taskbar, and close with its title-bar X. It gathers everything you can do about a person: moderating them, changing their account, and administering their NickServ registration.
Finding a user
The list reads /admin user list as a point-in-time snapshot — it does not update on its own. Type into Search and tick Online only before choosing Refresh to narrow it. The ban list below reads /admin user banlist under the same search term, so filtering the list filters both.
Enter a nick in the Nick field and choose Info to run /admin user info for a single account.
Moderation
Ban, Unban, Kick, Mute and Unmute each take their own nick, so acting on several people in a row never applies an action to a stale selection. Ban accepts an optional reason and duration; Kick accepts a reason; Mute accepts a duration. Leaving a duration blank makes the action permanent.
Account & roles
Rename changes a registered nickname. Set role assigns server_operator or removes admin roles by setting user. Only a root administrator can grant the admin role — the option is disabled for everyone else.
NickServ admin
NickServ info reads a registration, Reset password sets a new one without knowing the old, and Drop registration deletes it. Dropping is not reversible.
Access
Only server administrators and server operators can open this window. Server operators see it read-only: the controls are disabled, and the server refuses the action even if the control is bypassed.
