One Name Above Several Lines
When one person writes several messages in a row, their name and the hour appear once, above the first message. The messages under it share the same stripe. A new stripe starts when someone else speaks, after five minutes of silence, or on a new day.
Point at a message, or reach it with the keyboard, to see the hour it was written. Your own messages are printed on a light blue stripe.
Where a Day Starts
A dotted perforation with the date marks the first message of each day. Each message shows only the hour and minute. Point at the hour to see the full date.
Notices From the Room
Some messages come from the room rather than from a person: /me actions, System, Service and Error messages, and deleted messages. They have no stripe and appear between the stripes, each with a small icon.
Pictures and Emoji
A message with only one to three emoji is printed large. Pictures appear without a frame; point at one to see its file name and size, and click it to open it.
