River Raid reimagined for two — race through a scrolling toxic canal, destroy enemies for points, steal fuel, and drop mines in your rival's path. The further you fly, the narrower the river and the more enemies come.
Controls
- Arrow Left/Right — Steer jet laterally
- Arrow Up — Accelerate
- Arrow Down — Decelerate
- Space — Fire missile
- Shift — Drop mine
Rules
- Destroy enemies (boats, helicopters, jets) for points
- Fly over fuel stations to capture fuel — first come, first served
- Bridges take 3 hits and pay a big bonus — flying into one is a crash
- Mines drop ahead of your jet and drift slowly down your lane — a rival who flies into one loses a life and you score
- Run out of fuel or crash into banks/enemies and you lose a life
- 3 lives per player — the match ends as soon as either jet is out of lives, and the higher score wins
Modes
- Hex Raid — Full rules: mines and fuel competition
- Pacifist — No mines, pure skill competition
- Blitz — Starts deep in: narrow river, scarce fuel, faster mine recharge
