Browse all public channels on the server in a sortable, filterable dialog window.
Syntax
/list
How It Works
Opens the Channel List dialog as an inline overlay showing all available channels with their user counts and topics. You can filter channels by name or topic using the search box. Click the Join button next to an open channel to join it directly. Invite-only (+i) channels show a +i badge; when you select one you are not already in, Join changes to Request Access... and opens a knock request dialog. Secret (+s) channels are completely hidden from the list. Private (+p) channels show their name but not their topic. Press Escape or click Close to dismiss the dialog.
Rooms About One Subject
The Category list beside the search box narrows the rooms to one subject — news, games, technology and the rest — as the plaque beside each channel name says. It works together with the search: both apply at once. While a category is chosen, a line above the rooms names it; its X button shows every category again. The "See more…" link under a sidebar section opens this window already set to that section's subject.
Rooms With Nobody In Them
A registered channel stays in the list even when everybody has left it. Such a room shows no user count and says instead when it was last used, so an empty row means quiet rather than gone. Joining one brings it back up exactly like any other channel.
