The Shortcut Cheatsheet displays all available keyboard shortcuts organized by category in a read-only retro-styled dialog.
Opening
Press Ctrl+Shift+/ to toggle the cheatsheet dialog.
Categories
Every entry has the action name, its key combination and a short description of what it does. The groups you will see are Navigation, Conference, System and P2P Session Console.
Fixed Bindings
The shortcuts listed are the same for every user. The cheatsheet only shows them. It does not let you change them.
An action that has no key combination shows a dash instead of keys.
Closing
Press Escape, Ctrl+Shift+/, or click the close button.
Other Ways to Open It
- Open the Help menu and choose Shortcut Cheatsheet.
- Open the Start menu, then Help, then Shortcut Cheatsheet.
The item is grayed out until you are connected to the chat. The cheatsheet opens as a window titled Keyboard Shortcuts. You can move it, resize it, or minimize it to the taskbar while you practice.
What It Does Not List
Keys that work only inside the chat input are not in the cheatsheet. For example:
- Enter sends the message.
- Shift+Enter starts a new line.
- Tab completes a nickname, or picks the selected suggestion.
- The arrow keys browse what you sent before. The Smart Input topic covers them.
